Aaron Specializes in:
Aaron began his career nearly 25 years ago working with children as a preschool and kindergarten teacher. After leaving teaching in 1999, Aaron began working with children on the autism spectrum and knew immediately that this was his calling. Although he began working in ABA, he realized that the behavioral approach wasn’t for him.
That’s when he discovered play as an approach for autism at the Autism Treatment Center of America where he was certified as a child facilitator and program instructor. Since venturing out on his own, Aaron has traveled worldwide, helping parents and professionals understand that playing with children with autism cultivates social development. Aaron has worked with over one thousand families and countless professionals to help them better understand that the true power in play is not being able to play a specific game, but the sharing of enjoyment with another person. Aaron approaches his work with the idea that the relationship IS the therapy.
Aaron founded Play.Connect.Grow. with the vision of bringing more play into the world!
